Regular Season Round 3: Kortrijk - Union Mons 89-93

One of the most interesting games of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from Belgium.Belfius Mons-Hainaut won against host Kortrijk (1-2) 93-89 . It was an exceptional evening for Slovenian guard Maks Klanjscek (196-1999, college: Oklahoma) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 5 assists. accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. American-Ghanian guard Darren Williams (178-2000, college: Hawaii-Hilo) came up with 21 points and Bram Bogaerts (198-1998) added 17 points respectively for Kortrijk in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kortrijk's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
